This graphic present the impacts of intervention/drivers on soil organic carbon for the selected land use type. Each intervention is compare to a “negative” control, i.e., without the effect of the intervention. For example crop rotation/ no crop rotation.
The points represent the median estimated summary effect.
The bars represent the 95% confidence intervals, i.e., the range of values that likely contains the mean estimate of the data analyzed.
Reading: if the median effect is greater than 0, the practice increases soil organic carbon.
If the confidence interval bar does not cross 0, the effect is considered significant.
Effect of the intervention on soil organic carbon compare to the absence of the intervention (expressed as a log ratio)
Number of studies per country included in the meta-analysis presenting an evaluation for the selected land use
